Generation West Virginia is a statewide consortium of young leader/professional groups from across the state who are making communities attractive for young people and families to stay, come, and live.

We are committed to not just discussing the longtime issue of combating the brain drain, but taking action to ensure that the problem is resolved through our efforts in economic development, leadership development, policy & legislative issues, statewide image and marketing, and best practices/outreach. Now is an exciting time for West Virginians, especially those age 21 to 45. For decades, young people have thought they’ve needed to leave the state to pursue their professional and/or personal opportunities, but that mindset is changing.

This conference will follow the long-time and extremely successful 2008 West Virginia Leadership Conference provided by the West Virginia Roundtable.
